Kirk was one of the first Ritual Elders in the Mid Atlantic.
He had always been a quiet presence. He tended not to raise his voice and yet men listened when he spoke. He was naturally skilled with interpersonal pieces and yet his usual demeanor was a smile.
His work in MKP became transformative for him. As a result, during his second or third year after joining MKP, he left the publishing business and began training as a therapist which he continued late into his life.
Kirk is remembered by many.
