Friday, June 22nd PM

 By Noon – Arrive at Ferry dock parking lot – 3 mi from Lincoln City. Be prompt, narrow “tide window” and traffic from Portland could cause delays 

 2-3pm: Cross the Salmon River Estuary by ferry to the Camp Westwind

4pm: WW Orientation, finding bunks, meeting/making friends

5-6pm: Welcoming Circle: Check In, introducing theme, original poem, song and blessing!

6-7pm: DINNER

7:7:30pm: FREE TIME

7:30-9:00pm: How can we as elder’s choice to Occupy Paradise within ourselves and to manifest this in the world? Organizing into small groups and connecting with a buddy to effectively share our ideas and feelings; Using song, poetry, movement to deepen our experience and connection (This will occur spontaneously throughout the weekend in designated areas – bring your voice, musical instruments, kites, other topics of interest)

GOAL: Touching “liminal space”—Wordless attunement or presence

9-9:30am: Brief Keynote Address by Jed Diamond, PhD.

“Jed” Talk: Occupy Life: 43 Years on the Path from Suicide to Paradise

9-30-10am: Presentation/Discussion: Growing up as Elders and as a Species: co-creating our new story – we are wise, wonderful, and wealthy – beyond our comprehension!     

Designed to be an antidote to doom and gloom: an embrace of the paradox and realistic appraisal of our chances for ruin or renaissance!

10-10:30am BREAK

10:30-Noon: Experiential small group process: “Where do I stand?”

12-1pm LUNCH

1:30-3pm: Workshop with Jed Diamond: Stop Killer Stress with Simple Energy Healing Tools

3:30-5pm Breakout Session/Free Space (possible beach-teach walk and learn with guide)

6-7pm DINNER

7-7:30pm: FREE TIME

3pm: Return to parking lot by Ferry
